I didn't train today due to battling a flu and jetlag combo 😷 so here's a little throwback, pre-christmas.. Seated rows are a favourite of mine for build a strong back and healthy shoulders - don't neglect your horizontal pulls!
Biggest form tips: ❎ NO MOMENTUM! Brace tightly and generate the pull from your shoulder blades, followed by a strong elbow drive backwards. 🧘🏻♂️ Sit up tall - shoulders over hips. This will reinforce good posture, but also ensure you're not only pulling through the upper back but the lats too. 💪🏼 Full, controlled range of motion will gain you strength in every area of that range. If you don't lengthen - you'll lack strength there, if you don't fully shorten - you won't gain strength there.
