| The antidote to negativity is not positivity, it’s warmth. Positivity tells a sad, worried, stressed out person there’s no reason to feel that way. Warmth asks the sad/stressed out/worried person how they can help them feel better and sometimes that includes going to the store for ice cream, sitting at home, eating pho, and watching The Good Place together, or making sure they have warm clothes for the weekend.

Had a good pull day today. Wore out my biceps before demolishing my back to make sure I was actually utilizing my back as much as possible.

Equally as important though, is taking a moment now and then to reflect back on your progress! Similar to the previous pose, this takes time for me to connect to my breath and body to engage deep core muscles to lift that leg up. This was less challenging without a twisted bind but still a mental challenge of coordination.  Just the kind of challenges I like.  The challenge for me was more about lifting that leg than the balance. Matter of fact, I don’t think I held this very long in the balance.
