Why do I have this platform?
Because I want all of you to find your best, healthiest selves. The version of you that is the happiest—from the inside out. Your FITTEST self.
Whether that’s through encouraging posts, relatable truths, workouts, recipes, or perhaps accountability...I want to help you find that part of yourself.
It took me years to find the balance that comes in my relationship with fitness. It wasn’t easy, I had lots of setbacks, and it required a whole lot of self-searching.
But man, the end of that journey is so awesome. I truly have found my fittest self—not because I’m the strongest, fastest, etc., but because I finally love myself.
I learned that working out isn’t a punishment for an unhealthy meal.
I ditched the scale because it mentally put me down.
I realized that I don’t have to workout, but GET to.
That I can’t “work off” one big meal.
I understood that counting calories makes me a crazy person.
And saw all that my body can do/does, and am happy with it whatever the current weight may be (or at least try to be—this one is no walk in the park and a constant struggle, don’t get me wrong 😉). All of the above are personal battles/feats for *me* that have helped me find my fittest self. We all have different ones, different journeys, and different ends. But whatever the differences are, I want to help you get there!
So that’s why I’m here.
