Reykjavik ikonikus Lutheranus temploma az ország egyik legmagasabb építményeként áll a város felett.
Valójában nem túlzottan kiemelkedő látvány, ahogy egész Reykjavik sem, max egy fél napos elfoglaltságnak ajánlom, főleg a természet szépségei mellett.
“The poetry of Earth is never dead.” – John Keats
Iceland has several qualities and captions popularised by Instagram in the past few years, and truth be told, no one can really define Iceland or any other land on Earth in just a few words- as Keats said the poetry of Earth is never dead, and as I believe the diversity on Earth cannot be quoted in mere words.
Braided rivers of Iceland are embodiments of Earth's poetry- one of which flows through the Skaftafell National park, a natural reserve that has diverse features of volcanoes, glaciers & campsites, plus adventure hiking trails for all abilities.
Interesting to note is that braided rivers do not maintain the same level of braiding throughout its course and even within a section, it changes a few millimetres every other day with the flow of water and sediments it carries.
