DRIVE💥 (Don’t drop💩)
•
Found myself saying this to clients a lot today. Most common missing component in a movement that just isn’t feeling right = a lack of prepared tension. •
Resistance training is literally creating resistance to perform movements. But if you’re relying on the external stimulus (the weight) to create that tension without finding it in your body first, your headed for the struggle bus (and probably injuries).
•
Example: dancer (me) loads squat and drops to end range of motion just because it’s there- without bracing abs and creating proper tension in glutes and hips first. No bueno. ☹️Range of motion you can control is VERY different than range of motion you can throw yourself into. 🤸🏻♀️I can chill in an ass-to-grass squat... but it’s a lot harder to stay a little above that point and brace for my life. 🏋🏻♀️You see where I’m going with this?
•
➡️This applies to pretty much every movement. Control your body. Drive into your squat. Drive into your deadlift set up. drive into your push up. Your bench. Your rows. Your pull up. Stop throwing away opportunity be stronger by focusing on dropping into 8479 reps and take the time to brace and drive. Need help learning how to prepare your body with the tension needed for strengthening these movements? Reach out. Work with a coach. Trust me when I say that learning how to create tension in your body is a game changer. (And the best way to get stronger ABS🗣)💥Also; it isn’t just important for athletes. If you have a body, you should be learning how to use it and how to protect it.🙌

Be confident. Too many days are wasted comparing ourselves to others and wishing to be something we aren’t. Everybody has their own strengths and weaknesses, and it is only when you accept everything you are - and aren’t - that you will truly succeed.
We’ve all been there doubting ourselves comparing ourselves to others, thinking we are not good enough, I definitely have. In today’s social media world we see perfect pictures and perfect life’s. Many times we get discouraged and give up on our goals and dreams. I’m here to tell you to let go of all those insecurities that hold you back. So what if your body is not perfect, so what if you don’t have it all together, you can push through your fears and get out of your comfort zone. Like Rachel Hollis says; What other people think of you is none of your business. There is only one YOU in this world and each of us is unique. So push yourself to be better everyday. Step out of your comfort zone and do something great. It’s never too late to work on yourself and motivate others. You are worth it! You deserve it! Never give up!
Pursuit of purpose will always enlist opposition, resistance and even enemies.Purpose requires transformation and most people retreat during the process.Any great leader who has attained a high level of success, impacted history, or provoked change has endured great trials. When I have experienced the dark valleys I find myself grateful for it all as I reflect back. It is in that space where my intimacy with God transforms my life for a greater purpose that is beyond anything I could have imagined. The valleys will confirm or discourage our inner passion to RISE up and relentlessly pursue what God has placed in our heart. I know this... God will always fulfill His promises. Never focus on the dark spaces in life when there is so much LIGHT inside of you capable of dispelling any darkness.Time to SHINE UNAPOLOGETICALLY! #prosperity#strength#lead#leadership#destiny#warriors#warrior#empowerment#encouragement#purpose
